Thermal Micellar Water for Sensitive Skin
Uriage Eau Micellaire Thermale is a no-rinse micellar water for sensitive skin. The aqueous base is Aqua (Water, Eau) — Uriage Thermal Water in the brand's signature format — and the cleansing work is done by a non-ionic surfactant pair, Poloxamer 184 and PEG-80 Glyceryl Cocoate, which lift away makeup and daily impurities without the need to rinse. Glycerin is added as a humectant so skin does not feel stripped after wiping.
Why Choose It?
- No-rinse micellar cleansing format — lifts away makeup and daily impurities with a cotton pad or washable pad
- Non-ionic surfactant pair: Poloxamer 184 and PEG-80 Glyceryl Cocoate
- Aqua (Water, Eau) base — Uriage Thermal Water in the brand's signature aqueous format
- Glycerin acts as a humectant so skin does not feel tight after wiping
- Single-step format suitable for use morning, evening or both
Best For
Sensitive skin that wants a quick, no-rinse cleansing step — either as a standalone morning refresh or as a makeup-removal stage before a fuller evening wash. The non-ionic surfactant pair handles daily impurities and lightweight makeup, while Glycerin keeps the wipe from feeling stripping.
Use morning and/or evening as a no-rinse cleansing step. Follow with Uriage face cream for sensitive skin to finish the routine.
- Saturate a cotton pad or washable cleansing pad with the micellar water.
- Sweep the pad gently over face, eyes and neck — no scrubbing, let the micelles do the work.
- Repeat with a fresh pad on heavier makeup zones until the pad comes away clean.
- No rinsing is required — leave skin to air-dry briefly before the next routine step.
- Continue with serum and moisturizer while skin is still slightly damp.
Tips
- For long-wear or waterproof makeup, do a dedicated eye-makeup-removal pass first, then move on to the rest of the face.
- If skin is reactive, patch test on the inner forearm before first full-face use.
- Reusable cotton or microfibre pads work well with this format and reduce single-use waste.
