Illuminating Eye-Contour Cream with Butterfly-Bush Flower for Dark Circles, Puffiness and Blue-Light Defence
Eye Illuminator is Christian Breton's targeted eye-contour cream built around Buddleja Officinalis (butterfly-bush) flower extract, formulated to address three concerns at once: dark circles, puffiness and the visible effects of blue-light exposure on the delicate eye area. The 15 ml formula combines the butterfly-bush flower with red algae (Kappaphycus Alvarezii), jasmine flower and calendula flower extracts on a base of Squalane, Glycerin and Panthenol. Ruscus Aculeatus root extract and Escin support a fresher, less puffy look, while Centella Asiatica leaf extract and Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E) round out the soothing and antioxidant story. Tested under ophthalmologist control.
Why Choose It?
- Buddleja Officinalis (butterfly-bush) flower extract as the hero in an illuminating eye-contour formula
- Targets the visible effects of blue light exposure on the eye area
- Addresses the look of dark circles and puffiness around the eye contour
- Soothing and antioxidant supporting cast: Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E) and Centella Asiatica leaf extract
- Tested under ophthalmologist control
Best For
Eye contours showing fatigue — dark circles, mild puffiness and a dull, tired look — particularly for routines with long screen time, where the blue-light-aware positioning of the formula is relevant. The 15 ml texture is built for the delicate eye-contour skin and is tested under ophthalmologist control, so it suits most users who want a single eye cream for AM and PM use.
Use morning and evening as the eye-contour step. For a fuller eye-area routine, layer Eye Illuminator under a Christian Breton eye cream on nights when the eye contour needs extra comfort.
- Cleanse the face and pat the eye area dry.
- Dispense a small, rice-grain amount onto the ring fingertip.
- Apply Eye Illuminator gently, patting the cream in and working outwards from the inner eye towards the temple.
- Continue with the rest of the routine — moisturiser, and SPF in the morning.
- Use both morning and evening.
Tips
- Use the ring finger — it applies the lightest pressure and is best suited to the thin eye-contour skin.
- Pat, do not rub — the goal is to deposit product, not drag the skin.
- Daily SPF in the morning protects the brightening work done by an eye-contour cream.
For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eye itself; if the cream gets into the eye, rinse with water.
